Videra Health Powers New San Diego Addiction Treatment Venture

Videra Health uses AI and video technology to automate patient intakes and screenings, clinical documentation, and trend analysis. In Behavioral Health Business, Chris Larson reports that John Peloquin, the longtime CEO of Discovery Behavioral Health, has partnered with Videra Health to build the patient monitoring and other software systems behind his new venture, San Diego-based Integrated Behavioral Health Group. The company offers residential detox, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming, talk therapy, interventional psychiatry, and telehealth, and it is using AI-backed monitoring to track real-world life patterns so engagement continues after a treatment episode ends. Peloquin told BHB that as many as half of patients fade out of outpatient treatment, and that adding a tech layer over the treatment system is meant to help both patients and providers assess which interventions will best sustain recovery. He plans to grow the company to between 15 and 20 locations in Southern California.
